Mr. Gregory is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Mosaic Capital LLC and Mosaic Capital Securities LLC – Member FINRA/SIPC, the premier specialty investment banking firm in Southern California providing global merger & acquisition and capital markets advisory services to the middle market. He understands business from the viewpoint of the entrepreneur, having owned, operated and advised a variety of manufacturing, distribution, entertainment, healthcare and service companies. He also has served on the boards of a NYSE global specialty chemical manufacturer, a nonprofit hospital chain, a specialty finance company and an amusement park. His operational and transactional experience gives him invaluable insight advising business owners on how to maximize their own company’s value.
Gordon started his career at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he guided blue chip clientele in planning and implementing domestic and international tax, transaction and exit strategies. Thereafter, he opened his own law practice in Los Angeles, specializing in business transactions and tax planning for entrepreneurs and family owned companies.
Gordon earned an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, while earning a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. He received his BA from the University of Southern California. He is certified by FINRA as a general securities principal (Series 24) and a registered representative (Series 7, 79 and 63), is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, is admitted to practice law in California (inactive status), and has passed the California CPA exam.
Mr. Gregory previously served on the board of directors of IMAP, a global organization of leading investment banking firms with offices in 30 countries, and of which Mosaic Capital is the California representative office. He is a member of both ACG and AMAA, national organizations of private equity buyers, financial institutions and professionals involved in M&A and capital markets. Mr. Gregory co-founded and is Managing Director of ProVisors, the leading alliance of trusted advisors and respected professionals serving middle market companies and their owners (www.provisors.com).
