Prior to joining Mosaic Capital, David was Partner at West Coast Capital, a leading Los Angeles-based investment bank, and a Director for a number of years in the Los Angeles office of Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin, specializing in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, David co-founded Chelsea Capital Corporation, a middle market investment-banking firm that was later acquired by Houlihan. Chelsea Capital specialized in selling privately held companies to large financial buyers, major corporations and industry consolidators.
David understands business from the viewpoint of the owner and entrepreneur. He served as President and CEO for 15 years of Perfect Parts, Inc., a large manufacturer of automotive parts. He managed the successful sale of the company's two divisions, to Moog Automotive and to the A.P.S. Division of Wickes. His operational and transactional experience gives him invaluable insight advising business owners how to maximize their own company's value.
David received his J.D. degree from New York University School of Law and his B.A. degree in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis. David is a frequent speaker to business groups on privately held company exit strategies, maximizing shareholder value, and negotiation techniques.
